Now I understand why you love excessive degen so much, Drake. You only PVP in random arena, I take it? I can't imagine where else you would get the impression that Mending, Troll Unguent, and Healing Breeze are standard defensive skills.

I never saw a (good) boon monk (most popular atm) that has a "counter" regen spell and won't remove any form of nasty (more then 4 degen) degen when they notice it.

Actually: even healers don't bring heal breeze, because removing the degen with a 5e spell is much more efficient then casting a 10e spell to counter it.

How about you bring your monk build and test it against the degen henchie team in the Temple of Balthazar.
I did, I used my normal boon monk. What happened: I cancelled all hard degens with cop (+ the backfire offcourse) and I healed my self with Signet of devotion (100 hp heal each 7 secs) only.

And for those who say there's no point in further degen beyond LT, why do you keep saying monks will remove it when they see it?
So: when a monk removes LT, you'll cast a lot of other forms of degen? Result: you'll burn through your energy because you can't have energy mangement. I don't see the point of taking 3 skills to do when your elite becomes useless.

My opinion: LT isn't a waste, over-degening is.

I wouldn't say there is a problem, per se, with LT... It's a matter of what you feel comfortable with. If you want to both degen and spike, I think it's a nice elite. Doesn't work well in 8v8, but I think it's perfectly viable in 4s. LT/PB is always a nice combination. You can even toss Defile Flesh in-between. But again... it's all about what you like... I couldn't care less for Mark of Subversion and Soul Leech, for example. Does that mean the skills suck? Heh... in this very thread there is at least one person praising MoS. My advice: do what you want.

Yes I do RA alot for fun but I also use this build in TA and I've been on a team in TA with someone using my build. It works very well getting to someone if we all gang up on them. It's also nice against runners and those who have huge armor boosts.

I just don't understand why people are ignorant to try the build. Just try it, you are no phsycic. You don't know what will happen and you can't say people will remove all those hexes.

It's like saying any build will be pwnt by Rend Enchantments. OMG No duh but who ever brings those, honestly I haven't seen this spell in use for a long time in both arenas. Most people try spiking or balanced group with air spike, etc. No monk in there is prepped for mass hex removal I've seen.

Now Listen Up. LT + conjure = waste? If you think this way, don't stack up on the same target I mean if you are so smart and have common sense, spread the degen to all enemies if you think stacking LT with another will be a waste.

Only a real good high xp necro knows how to play necro the best way, its the same with every other char, imo life transfer is one of the best skills and so what that it can be removed, you just cast another hex and another or just life siphon every 1 and let the monk find out who he has to remove hex. and you have a +10 healt regen allways if you play it right.

I think people generally tend to put down Life Transfer users in hopes of them stopping to use them. I get alot of noob remarks for using Sever Artery+Gash, Knights Chest, and using Mending and Healing Breeze with my W/Mo. Of course I won't tell you the rest of the skills that's a secret but even if you get those skills early in pre sear they still prove to be beneficial over other possible choices.

No, keep using it. LT is not scary, it's just annoying.

Looks like that i need to repeat that LT isn't the right elite if you want degen on a whole team. Lt is for maxing degen out on one person.

And don't forget that I told you guys in my first post that you need a cover hex to be powerful. It's a fact that most decent monk (except boon bonders) has hex removal in some way.

Look: I love using builds that degen a whole team (look! There heal bar turns purple!). But in my opinion Lt isn't the perfect elite for that. Degening builds need a lot of energy you know...

About trying this: I do use LT sometimes (I said this before btw), so I do talk about my own experience, if you don't cover LT then 90% (i'm talking about TA now) of the monks will remove it before it ends.

Still, this is my opinion.

lol
Try echo LT and when the first is removed cast the 2nd one, or cast one on the monk so he has to use his own remove hex on him self.
Most groups take 1 man with remove hex ( not all of them) and if they are trying to remove your hex your group is doing lots of dmg, its all about team work.
